Apple teases rumored AR/VR headset with ‘Code New Worlds’ WWDC23 email

Apple may have just teased its rumored new AR/VR headset, which is expected to be announced next week at WWDC23.
In an email ahead of next week’s special event, Apple has told developers to get ready to “code new worlds,” which could be taken metaphorically, hinting at the all-new augmented and virtual reality features coming to the headset, which developers will be able to use to create a new “world” in their apps.
Apple is widely expected to be planning on unveiling its long-rumored AR/VR mixed-reality headset at WWDC23 next week ahead of a release in the fall.
In 2021 we saw The Information publish a sketch of the upcoming headset, claiming to have seen secret internal imagery from an unnamed source “with direct knowledge” of the development, reporting that the device will offer a “sleek, curved visor attached to the face by a mesh material and swappable headbands.”
The device will offer a combination of augmented and virtual reality experiences, including VR FaceTime calls, Apple Arcade AR gaming, and more.
