Apple celebrates opening of Saket Apple Store in New Delhi, India

Apple has officially opened Apple Saket — the iPhone maker’s second store in India, with the doors opening to the Saket Apple Store in New Delhi, India today following the grand opening of the company’s first store in the country, Apple BKC in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Located in India’s capital of New Delhi, Apple Saket is designed with materials sourced from the region, including the tables and wood feature wall. The store welcomes customers through a uniquely designed curved storefront with white oak tables displaying Apple’s products and accessories, as well as a feature wall manufactured in India.
The store features a dedicated Apple Pickup station for customers to order online and collect their devices in-store.

The store has more than 70 retail team members who come from a combined 18 states in India and collectively speak more than 15 languages.
To celebrate the grand opening, customers can download exclusive Apple Saket wallpapers, listen to a specially curated Apple Music Saket playlist, and sign up for upcoming Today at Apple sessions.

Apple stepped up its retail efforts in India in 2020, expanding the official online Apple Store to bring its full range of products and support directly to customers across the country for the first time, cutting the reliance on the company’s network of third-party sellers to handle sales and support in the country.
