watchOS 10 to be ‘fairly extensive upgrade’ for the Apple Watch, according to Gurman

Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman has reported that watchOS 10, Apple’s next major software update for the Apple Watch will be a “fairly extensive” one, saying the update will introduce “notable changes” to the user interface, although no further details were shared.
The tidbit follows after Gurman claimed last week that iOS 17 will boast several “nice to have” features, including several of users’ “most requested features, saying that Apple’s original plan was to focus on fixing bugs and improving performance with iOS 17 rather than adding new features, claiming that the strategy has now changed, with the update bringing “nice to have” features, including several of users’ “most requested features,” although again, no further information was shared.
In addition to a “fairly extensive” update to watchOS and Apple showing off the next major software updates coming later in the year for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac, the WWDC keynote could also see Apple unveil its much-anticipated AR/VR mixed-reality headset, which would be previewed ahead of its release in fall.
