Apple allowing developers to submit iOS 16 compatible apps to the App Store
Apple has confirmed that developers can now submit iOS 16 compatible apps for App Store Review in preparation for the public roll-out of iOS 16 next week, with watchOS 9 and tvOS 16 compatible apps now also available to submit to the App Store.
Apple manually screens each app before they become available to download on the App Store, with the iPhone maker giving developers the opportunity to submit their apps so that compatible builds can be reviewed and approved to be made available on the App Store as soon as iOS 16, watchOS 9 and tvOS 16 are officially released next week.
To submit apps, developers are required to use the release candidate version of Xcode 14, which is now available to download.
