Apple opens new Apple Store in Wuhan, China
Apple has opened the doors to its first Apple Store in Hubei Province, Wuhan, China, opening as the first Apple Store in China to feature a dedicated Apple Pickup area, and as the iPhone maker’s 54th retail store in Greater China.
“We’re excited about opening our first Apple Retail Store in Hubei Province,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Apple Retail and Human Resources. “This store brings new design elements to China for the first time, providing customers with more ways to explore creativity, learn more about Apple products, or make it easier to pick up in the store in Items ordered online.”
With many of Apple’s latest design elements, the store features granite floors and wood walls, space for Today at Apple sessions, large wooden tables and product displays, as well as China’s first dedicated Apple Pickup area, making it easier for customers to pick up their online orders in-store.
Apple Wuhan is the 54th Apple Retail Store in Greater China. Apple touts that the store’s 128-person team can communicate with customers in multiple languages, including Chinese sign language and English sign language.
