Concepts show rumored new pill-shape and circular display cutouts coming to iPhone 14 Pro
Amid a wave of reports speculating on what to expect from this year’s new iPhone models, accessory store pigtou.com has shared concepts created in collaboration with @xleaks7 that offer a look at the rumored design of the iPhone 14 Pro, showing the rumored new pill-shape and circular display cutouts to replace the rectangular notch from the top of this year’s new iPhone’s display.
The concepts are based on alleged iPhone 14 Pro 3D CAD renders that surfaced online earlier this week, showing an overall similar design to the iPhone 13 Pro with the exception of the display, which is said to see Apple remove the notch and house the device’s Face ID components and front-facing camera module under new pill-shape and circular display cutouts, shown in pigtou.com‘s concepts.
Asides from the removal of the notch, Apple is expected to keep the design of the iPhone 14 Pro very similar to the iPhone 13 Pro. The concept show a protruding back camera module with three lenses, a flash light and LIDAR sensor.
The sides remain the same, with the left side having the device’s volume buttons, silent switch and SIM tray while the right side will have the power button.
It was reported in late February that trusted Apple supplier Foxconn has started trial production of the iPhone 14, suggesting the company has now finalized the design of this year’s new iPhone models and is preparing factories for mass production later this year, ahead of the device’s launch in fall.
