Apple touts M1 iPad Air in new ‘Election’ ad

With in-store pickups and at-home deliveries underway for the new M1 iPad Air, Apple has shared a new ad called “Election” that shows off the new device and its capabilities, closing with the tagline “Your next computer is not a computer,” a tagline used before to promote the iPad Pro.
The ad shows a group of students preparing for a school election, using the iPad Air to create campaigns to elect the next class president. The ad shows off the new colors, improved power and durability of the M1 iPad Air, which is now powered by the same chip as the 24-inch iMac and 2020 MacBook Pro.
In the video’s description Apple says, “Introducing the new iPad Air. Supercharged by the Apple M1 chip. In five amazing colors. 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with 5G. (Cellular models subject to availability. Accessories sold separately.) 12MP Ultra Wide front camera with Center Stage. And, of course, it works with Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard.”
