Apple opens new Apple Rosenthaler Straße store in Berlin
Apple has officially opened the doors to Apple Rosenthaler Straße, the newest Apple Store to open in Germany.
Located on the eastern side of the capital city, Apple Rosenthaler Straße is the first Apple Store in the Mitte borough of Berlin. The store features seven-meter high floor-to-ceiling windows and towering trees, all the latest retail store fixtures including a large video wall and Forum for Today at Apple sessions and shopping avenues, where customers can explore Apple’s latest products and services.
“We’re excited to open our second store in Berlin, right in the heart of Mitte,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail + People in a press release on the official Apple Newsroom. “Blending Apple’s exceptional technology and tools with the creative passion we share with this community gives us the opportunity to create something really special for our customers in Germany.”
The store features a dedicated Apple Pickup area, the first of its kind in Europe, making it easier for customers to collect orders placed online or through the Apple Store app.
Apple touts that Apple Rosenthaler Straße is home to more than 130 team members, who collectively speak many languages, including German, English, French, Polish, Russian, Cantonese, Farsi, Arabic, and Swahili.
