Apple Store down in parts of the world ahead of annual Black Friday shopping event
Apple’s online store and Apple Store app have been pulled offline in parts of the world ahead of tomorrow’s four-day shopping event from Black Friday through Cyber Monday.
With the shopping event already underway in Australia and New Zealand, Apple is offering up to $200 in Apple Store gift cards with eligible purchases.
Running from November 26 through November 2, customers ordering the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone SE, Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series 3 will receive up to $50 in store credit, customers ordering AirPods will receive $75 in credit, customers ordering the iPad Pro 11” and iPad Pro 12.9” will receive $100 in credit and customers splashing out on select Mac models will receive between $100 – $200 in Apple gift cards.
The Apple Post has been able to verify that the online Apple Store is down in the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, France, Ireland, Switzerland, and Italy.
