Apple Store sitemap down ahead of ‘California streaming’ special event
With just a couple of hours to go until Apple kicks off its “California streaming” special event, the online Apple Store sitemap has been pulled offline, showing the usual pre-event “Be right back” roadblock for users visiting the site.
For now, the online Apple Store and Apple Store app itself remains available, allowing shoppers to browse and make purchases as normal, but it is expected that the Apple Store storefront will be made unavailable shortly as the company prepares to add new products ahead of today’s special showcase.
Visiting www.apple.com/shop/sitemaps/sitemap.xml shows users the “Be right back” roadblock. Apple is likely updating the sitemap to include new pages, such as those for the iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7, new AirPods, and more, which are all expected to be announced later today.
