Apple releases another firmware update for AirTags

Apple has released yet another firmware update for AirTags, updating the tracking accessory following a new version of firmware being rolled out on August 26, and a revised version releasing shortly after on August 31.
Like the other two updates, today’s firmware doesn’t come with any information from Apple regarding what’s new.
Asides from the two recent releases, Apple’s last AirTag firmware update came in June when the company reduced the length of time it took for people to be notified when an unknown AirTag was traveling with them. With the update earlier in the year, Apple announced it was developing a new Android app that would let non-iPhone users detect an unknown AirTag or any other accessory connected to the Find My network that happens to be traveling with them.
