Leaker casts doubt on new hardware coming at WWDC21
With Apple’s highly-anticipated Worldwide Developers Conference less than 6 hours away, well-known leaker L0vetodream has cast doubt on rumors of new hardware being announced at today’s special event.
In a Tweet on Monday, the leaker responded “I feel no” to another leaker, DuanRui who asked for people’s thoughts on whether or not alongside WWDC’s usual software announcements, we may get hardware products unveiled during today’s keynote.
Rumors have been pointing to Apple announcing either one or two new MacBook Pro models at WWDC, expected to be the long-discussed 14-inch and 16-inch models that will boast a redesigned body, next-generation M-series chip, added ports, MagSafe charging connector, and the removal of the OLED Touch Bar above the machine’s keyboard.

Apple’s week-long conference begins at 10 a.m PT. The main keynote presentation that will see iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS 12, watchOS 8 and tvOS 15 announced is scheduled for 2 hours, followed by a second “special event” set to focus on Spatial Audio for Apple Music, which Apple announced last month would be coming in an update in June.
