Chipolo launching ‘ONE Spot’ item tracker with Find My support in June
Chipolo is launching the first third-party item tracker with Find My support, the ONE Spot, in June, that will integrate with Apple’s newly launched Find My network so that users can track their belongings that have a ONE Spot attached to them from the Find My app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Similar to how Apple’s rumored AirTags trackers are expected to work, the Chipolo ONE Spot is a small, round tracker that can easily be attached to belongings, such as wallets, backpacks, and keys, in the new “Items” tab in the Find My app.
According to Chipolo, the tag is water-resistant and lightweight with a replaceable battery that will last for up to twelve months.
Created for Apple users, the Chipolo ONE Spot will allow them to locate not just misplaced but also missing personal items, whether enjoying a walk, commuting to work or travelling abroad. Featuring a water-resistant and lightweight design of the Chipolo, users will truly be able to go anywhere and everywhere with peace of mind.
Pricing for the ONE Spot hasn’t been announced, but the regular Chipolo ONE, which was announced back in 2020 at CES retails for $25. It is likely that the ONE Spot will be priced slightly higher, with pre-orders beginning in May from Chipolo and Best Buy ahead of the tag’s official launch.
