Apple Store down across Europe ahead of four-day shopping event
Apple’s online store and Apple Store app are down across Europe in preparation for Apple’s four-day ‘shopping event’ from Black Friday through Cyber Monday, which will offer Apple Store Gift Cards up to $150 with the purchase of eligible products.
Starting on Black Friday, customers will receive Apple Store Gift Cards when purchasing select iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watches, AirPods, HomePods and Apple TVs, plus Beats headphones.
The shopping event is happening across the globe, with the promotion now underway in Australia and New Zealand. The online Apple Store will likely also go down in the United States later today as Apple gears up for the Black Friday through Cyber Monday offer.
Promotion excludes Apple’s new M1 Mac models, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, new HomePod mini, Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Watch SE and redesigned iPad Air.
To qualify for the top $150 Apple Store Gift Card, customers will need to purchase the 16-inch MacBook Pro or 21.5-inch iMac. The next tier, the $100 Apple Store Gift Card, is for purchases of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, 11-inch iPad Pro, or HomePod, the following tier for a $50 Apple Store Gift Card is for purchases of the iPhone SE, iPhone 11, iPhone XR, iPad mini, Apple TV 4K, Apple TV HD, and select Beats headphones, followed by the final tier, which offers a $25 Apple Store Gift Card with the Apple Watch Series 3, AirPods, or AirPods Pro.
