Apple begins iPhone Upgrade Program pre-approvals in the US
Apple is beginning iPhone Upgrade Program pre-approvals for customers in the US ahead of the first wave of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro pre-orders on Friday.
iPhone Upgrade Program members can choose their preferred model, confirm their carrier and get pre-approved for their iUp loan so that on pre-order day, customers simply tap confirm to complete their pre-order.
iPhone Upgrade Program pre-approvals remain available only in the US, with customers in the UK required to visit an Apple Store to complete their loan agreement, although a similar option to choose a preferred model ahead of pre-orders is available online and through the Apple Store app worldwide.
iPhone Upgrade Program pricing starts at $49.91 per month for the iPhone 12 Pro and $39.50 per month for the iPhone 12.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 begin on Friday, October 16, with availability beginning Friday, October 23. iPhone 12 mini will be available for pre-order on Friday, November 6, with availability beginning Friday, November 13.
