#AppleEvent hashtag with Apple logo appears on Twitter ahead of next week’s ‘Hi, Speed’ iPhone 12 event
Ahead of next week’s highly anticipated “Hi, Speed” special event, expected to see the launch of the iPhone 12, new AirPods Studio over-ear headphones, AirTag item trackers, an affordable “HomePod mini,” and more, Apple has created a branded #AppleEvent hashtag on Twitter.
The hashtag features the Apple logo in a mix of orange and blue colors, similar to the hidden AR artwork on Apple.com.
It’s become somewhat of a tradition now for Apple to create branded hashtags ahead of events. A hashtag tracking tool on wongmjane.com outed Apple’s last hashtag artwork for its “Time Flies” live stream last month, before the event was announced by Apple themselves.
The new “Hi, Speed” hashtag is scheduled to disappear on the day of the event next week, suggesting we may see another branded hashtag appear afterwards, possibly #iPhone12 or #AirTags with custom graphics.
