Instagram brings customizable app icons to iPhone
Instagram is celebrating its tenth birthday today by allowing users to customize the appearance of its app on your iPhone’s Home Screen with a selection of custom app icons, including the classic Polaroid-style camera design, Pride themes, and more.
The easter egg is hidden away in the Settings section of the Instagram app, which when discovered displays a list of 13 available icon designs. The special birthday update also adds a private map and archive of your stories from the past three years, which Instagram announced online today.
Users can change their app icon by opening Instagram, tapping Settings, and swiping down from the very top of the screen, as you would when refreshing. This will then show a list of vertical emoji before displaying a list of icons.
