Image appears to show leaked iPhone 12 logic board
An important component from one of this year’s new iPhone 12 models has allegedly been leaked, with an image circulating on social media claiming to show the logic board from Apple’s next-generation iPhone, featuring a new single-layer design.
It’s hard to determine how legitimate the leak is, however MacRumors note that the fine print of the motherboard indicates it was manufactured in the 40th week of 2019, the first week of October, after the iPhone 11 had launched, and that the board appears to be slightly longer than that found in current iPhone models.
We suggest taking this supposed leak with a pinch of salt, but as we enter the time of year when Apple begins to send its new iPhone models into production, this could possibly be our first look at one part of what will eventually become the iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro Max.
