Apple launches new ‘Today at Apple (at Home)’, replacing in-store sessions
Apple has launched a new “Today at Apple (at Home)” initiative that replaces the “Today at Apple” sessions that are usually hosted in its retail stores, launching a new website with videos from Creative Pros around the world.
Apple announced the closure of Apple Store locations in March in an effort to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus, putting an end to the free in-store creative sessions that teach users how to get to grips with everything from augmented reality to photography and music on their Apple devices.
Now, a new webpage has launched on Apple.com that features videos filmed by Creative Pros in London, Singapore, and Santa Monica that aim to continue the sessions digitally, showing how users can draw playful portraits with iPad, capture striking photography and shoot photos full of personality with iPhone.
Apple currently has three videos online, with more likely to continue to be added until stores reopen and Today at Apple sessions can return to their usual format.
