Tim Cook exposed to coronavirus after partying with Universal Music’s CEO, Lucian Grainge
Tim Cook and Eddy Cue have both been exposed to the coronavirus after partying with Universal Music’s CEO, Lucian Grainge who has tested positive for COVID-19.
16 days ago, Cook and Cue attended La Quinta’s Madison Club, which has been shut down in response to the illness, to celebrate the 60th birthday of Lucian Grainge.
Symptoms of COVID-19 can appear anywhere from 14 to 21 days after exposure to the virus.
Currently, it is not known if either Cook or Cue have been tested for the coronavirus. Lucian Grainge has since been hospitalized, according to a report from Bloomberg.
The news follows after Apple announced it would host a digital-only WWDC conference this year over coronavirus fears. The company is taking many steps to ensure the safety of its employees, including the closure of all 464 Apple Stores outside of Greater China until March 27, as well as promoting corporate employees work from home.
