iPhone 11 pre-orders begin ‘Preparing to Ship’ ahead of deliveries next Friday
Apple is beginning to update the order statuses for the initial wave of iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max customers who pre-ordered the devices yesterday ahead of the first set of deliveries taking place on Friday, September 20.
The update sees statuses charge from “processing” to “preparing to ship” on Apple’s website, a move which means pre-orders can no longer be canceled or amended.
After “preparing to ship”, Apple will update the order statuses once again to “shipped” when the iPhone models are handed over to the shipping company delivering the device to your door, with customers in the United States usually at this stage able to track the whereabouts of their order with tracking on UPS’s or FedEx’s websites.
Not all pre-orders which were given the Friday, September 20 delivery window have changed to “preparing to ship”, but those customers can expect their statuses to change over the next couple of days. – To check the status of your order, visit the Order Listing page on Apple’s website.
