Apple celebrates Pride Day, Tim Cook joins team in San Francisco Pride Parade
Tim Cook, Lisa Jackson, Jay Blahnik, and other Apple employees took to the streets of San Francisco over the weekend to celebrate the annual Pride parade, with employees wearing special Apple Pride branded t-shirts and waving rainbow flags.
Apple is known for pushing LGBT rights and fighting discrimination. The company has called out controversial legislation several times, while also supporting legislation that centers on LGBT anti-discrimination efforts.
Apple recently released a special rainbow inspired Apple Watch face in watchOS 4.3.1, and customers around the world can pick-up Apple’s new Woven Nylon Pride Edition’ Apple Watch band for both the 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch models.
