Apple no longer offering financing options in the United Kingdom
Apple on Tuesday unexpectedly pulled financing options away from customers in the United Kingdom, scrapping the finance plans that allowed customers to pay monthly for products through PayPal Credit or Barclays when checking out from the online Apple Store.
It’s unclear why Apple has removed financing from the United Kingdom, however, Apple also removed the financing options for individuals in Canada last year. [The Apple Post has reached out to Apple for comment].
Although financing is no longer available for general Apple Store purchases, Apple is continuing to offer financing options for educational institutions in the country, and the iPhone Upgrade Program in partnership with Barclays.
Apple’s financing webpage has been removed and now redirects visitors to the main Apple homepage.
