Apple releasing Q2 2018 earnings on May 1
Apple has informed investors today that they shall be hosting their Q2 2018 earnings call on Tuesday May 1st 2018, noting online that it will hold a call with investors at 2PM PT/5PM ET on the same day.
It’s expected Apple will announce revenue between $60 billion and $62 billion, with gross margins between 38 percent and 38.5 percent.
Following tradition, Apple executives Tim Cook and CFO Luca Maestri will likely be taking part in a Q&A with investors and members of the media shortly after the official earnings call has finished, a live session which usually reveals facts from inside Apple alongside giving us all a small glimpse into what the company has planned for the upcoming year.
During their Q1 2018 earnings call on February 1st, Apple announced their quarterly financial results for the last three months of 2017, reporting revenue of $88.3 billion and $20.1b profit from 77.3m iPhones, 13.2m iPads, and 5.1m Macs sold, compared to $78.4b in revenue and $17.89b in profit from 78.3m iPhones, 13m iPads, and 5.3m Macs last year.
