Tim Cook visits Apple’s Glasgow retail store before collecting an honorary degree from the University of Glasgow
First surprising Apple Store employees with an unannounced visit in Marseille, France, then meeting with Paris-based fashion designer, Julien Fournié and VizEat co-founders Camilla Rumani and Jean-Michel Petit, Tim Cook has arrived in Glasgow, calling into the company’s Buchanan Street store to meet with customers and employees before heading to the University of Glasgow where he shall be honoured with a degree followed by a Q&A with students.
Tim’s short visit to the Scottish Store saw the executive handed two gifts; a tartan scarf and an embroidered picture. – He said he loved the scarf but asked: “How are you supposed to fold this?” reports the STV News.

Open strictly to staff and students only, Tim shall be taking to the stage at Bute Hall, University of Glasgow between 18:00pm – 19:00pm, giving attendees the opportunity to take part in a ‘Fireside Chat’ and Q&A.
