Tim Cook unexpectedly visits the Apple Store in Marseille, France, surprising staff and customers
En route to Scotland where the CEO shall be awarded an honorary degree from the University of Glasgow at a special event next week; Tim Cook has unexpectedly dropped into the Apple Store in Marseille, France, surprising staff and customers.
Casually walking around the store, speaking with employees and shoppers, Tim Cook’s arrival was apparently an unscheduled trip which staff weren’t made aware of prior. A video shared by blog Mac4ever.com shows the store applauding the executive as he left and continued his onward journey.
In July of 2016, speculation pointed to Apple opening an 800 square meter research laboratory in Grenoble, France which would be the location where Apple worked to improve imaging sensors and techniques for its iOS devices.
