A refreshed Mac Pro could launch next month
While Apple’s “Hello Again” event last week came and went, there was one thing that we expected to see and didn’t. Sure the new MacBook Pros look great, but for more professional users a refreshed Mac Pro would have been great. While nothing was ever mentioned about the product at the keynote, rumors speculate that a new Mac Pro may launch in November.
Apple revealed the newly revamped Mac Pro at WWDC in 2013. Since then, nothing has been done with machine. It does still receive the latest macOS updates, but it would be nice to see some updated hardware. Now, reports out of Mac World UK claim that the Cupertino company will release a refreshed Mac Pro in late November. It’s claimed that theses sources are close to Apple, but it does line up with some other rumors earlier this year.
Previously there had been code found in OS X El Capitan that hinted at a possible new Mac Pro with 10 USB 3 ports. Of course this is all speculation at this point and should be taken with a grain of salt.
