Craig Federighi says Apple won’t host anymore Keynotes this season
In an email today which was sent to MacRumors reader Luke, Apple’s senior vice president of Software Engineering, Craig Federighi, has said Apple is “All Keynoted out for the season”, putting a stop to those who speculated Apple was preparing to take to the stage to unveil new Mac hardware later this month.
While the news may be disappointing for some, this doesn’t mean the company is done with new products this year! Already Apple has shown off the HomePod and iMac Pro that are scheduled for launch in December, as well as discussing pro-focused iMacs and new Apple designed external Displays.
Given that Apple has previously introduced the new products in June at the Worldwide Developers Conference, it’s likely the company will probably launch both the HomePod and iMac Pro via a press release, with no additional events to take place in 2017.
“Will we see an October keynote event?” Luke asked. “I think we’re all Keynoted out for the season! :-)” Federighi replied.
