Apple introduces new Apple Music student pricing in over 20 new countries
After first launching in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and Denmark in May this year; Apple has expanded their Apple Music student pricing to over 20 new countries; meaning those in full-time education and who have access to the relevant verification forms can enjoy an exclusive 50% off the standard subscription fee.
Partnering with third-party service, UNiDAYS, Apple requires students to verify their eligibility by signing into their UNiDAYS account or by using their school email address or campus WiFi network. – In the United Kingdom, Apple took the membership price down from £9.99 per-month to £4.99 per-month, matching Spotify’s current student/educational offering.
