Apple expected to release iOS 16.4.1 soon with Weather app bug fix
Apple is reportedly working on a rapid fix update for iOS 16.4, which many users across the globe have reported to have caused a bug with the default Weather app on iPhone that is failing to load live forecasts and temperature data in selected regions.
According to MacRumors, who cite a source with a proven track record for upcoming software updates, Apple is working on releasing iOS 16.4.1, which will likely be released later this week or early next week focusing on bug fixes.
iOS 16.4, which was released last week brought 21 new emoji including new animals, hand gestures, objects, and more, support for notifications on web apps added to the Home Screen, Voice Isolation for cellular calls, Crash Detection optimizations on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models, and more.
iOS 16.4.1 will be released as Apple continues work on iOS 16.5 which is currently in developer beta testing, bringing iMessage Contact Key Verification, Custom Accessibility Mode settings, the Apple Card Savings Account feature for users in the U.S., the next-generation CarPlay experience, and more.
