Apple rumored to launch Apple TV app on Android

Apple is reportedly readying an Apple TV app for Android devices, according to a reputable leaker who claims that the iPhone maker is testing the app internally ahead of a launch in the near future, with the Apple Music app for Android said to be receiving an update in the near future too.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, leaker ShrimpApplePro suggests that Apple will publish the Apple TV app on Google Play, formerly known as Android Market, giving non-iPhone users the ability to download the app to access the Apple TV+ streaming service, which is widely available on select smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV and Roku devices, Chromecast with Google TV, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and more.
Currently, the only way to watch Apple TV+ content on Android devices is through tv.apple.com on the web, with Apple seemingly planning on offering a native experience to Android users by likely mirroring the Apple TV app on iOS, giving access to Apple Original series and films.
