Apple rumored to launch new high-end Studio Display with mini-LED in October

Apple is reportedly working on a high-end version of the recently introduced standalone Studio Display, with analyst Ross Young reporting today that he believes the launch of the forthcoming mini-LED external monitor has been pushed back until October, citing problems at the Quanta production plant.
“Apple leak! The 27″ MiniLED monitor has been delayed as it was going to be produced at Quanta in Shanghai which has been locked down,” wrote Young in a tweet on Friday. “Production is in the process of being moved to a different location and has been delayed. It now looks like an October release.”
Young previously forecasted that the display was destined to arrive in June, which would suggest Apple had originally intended to announce the monitor at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference.
