Apple promoting iPhone 13 durability in new ‘Run Baby Run’ ad
Apple is adding to its “Relax, it’s iPhone” advertising campaign with a cute new “Run Baby Run” ad touting the iPhone 13’s durability, specifically showing how the device can withstand drops on hard surfaces thanks to the Ceramic Shield display, which offers 4x drop protection compared to older iPhone models.
In the ad, a toddler is seen at home picking up an iPhone from a coffee table before dropping it straight to the ground. The child then proceeds to run through the house with the iPhone recording in hand, showing the device being bashed alongside the side of a crib, hammered across the keys of a piano and dropped into the kitchen sink before it falls for the final time and is picked up by the child’s parent.
Set to the song “Chitty Bang” by Leikeli47, the ad shows views from the front and back camera as the child runs free around the house as the parent gives chase behind, closing with the tagline “Toddler resistant. Relax, it’s iPhone.”
The new ad was spotted first by The Apple Post on Thursday before it was officially uploaded to Apple’s YouTube channel a day later on Friday. You can see the 30-second video below.
