Apple Watch Series 7 shown off in new pictures ahead of release
Despite being announced last month alongside the iPhone 13 and redesigned iPad mini, which are both now available in-store, Apple is yet to provide an official release date for the Apple Watch Series 7, which is believed to have been held back due to production issues close to launching.
As rumors speculate on when Apple will reveal further information about the new Apple Watch, pictures posted to a Facebook group for “Apple Watch enthusiasts” over the weekend are allegedly showing our first real-world look at the new wearable, showing the device’s increased screen area, which is up by 20% compared to the Apple Watch Series 6.
The pictures, which have now been removed, supposedly come from somebody working for a carrier who has been testing the new device before it goes on sale “later this fall.”
To the disappointment of many, the Apple Watch Series 7 doesn’t feature the long-rumored flat-edge redesign multiple sources had suggested it would in the lead up to its launch. Instead, the new Apple Watch has been updated with larger displays, new finishes, enhanced durability, faster charging, and more. Here’s everything new with the Apple Watch Series 7.
Pricing for the new Apple Watch Series 7 is yet to be confirmed, with some suggesting that more details about the new device could land in the coming weeks.
