Full mobile coverage coming to London Underground by 2024

If you are a commuter in London, you will know that when using the Underground, unless on the District or surface level trains signal is difficult to obtain. But, if you are on a deep level line like the Piccadilly or Victoria, then it is impossible once you are underground.
In recent years, TFL have added Virgin public Wifi, but this is only at stations, so once the train leaves, you are back to signaless commuting between stations.
However, by 2024 this is set to change, with TFL announcing that full coverage signal is coming to the tube. London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, said this in a press statement about the topic:
“I promised Londoners that if they re-elected me for a second term as mayor I would deliver 4G throughout the tube network. It’s already up and running on the eastern half of the Jubilee line and I’m delighted to announce today that I am fulfilling that commitment and full internet access will be available across the tube, with key central London stations such as Oxford Circus and Euston set to benefit before the end of next year.”
Commuters don’t have too long to wait for non interupted signal on their daily commutes on the tube.
