Apple Stores won’t sell every color of the new iMac, Apple confirms
Apple has shared a reminder that its redesigned iMac will be available to pre-order tomorrow on Friday, April 30 alongside the new M1 iPad Pro and updated Apple TV.
In the reminder, Apple has revealed that its retail stores won’t have all seven colors of the new iMac available for in-person purchase, advising prospective customers that for the full range, shoppers must use the online Apple Store for home delivery or in-store pickup.
First spotted by 512 Pixels, Apple says its stores will only carry the green, pink, blue, and silver iMacs, leaving the orange, yellow, and purple machines as online exclusives.
It is not clear if only the green, pink, blue, and silver iMacs will be on display in-store, or if Apple will have the complete line available to see in person for customers looking to see the full color options before making a purchase.
