Apple releases watchOS 7.3.1 for Apple Watch Series 5 and SE to fix charging bug
Apple on Monday rolled out watchOS 7.3.1, that addresses an issue that prevented some Apple Watch Series 5 and Apple Watch SE models from charging after entering Power Reserve mode.
The update, available now for the two wearables, follows the release of watchOS 7.3 last month, which brought the ability for users in Japan, Mayotte, Philippines, and Thailand to take an electrocardiogram to show whether their heart rhythm indicates signs of atrial fibrillation, a new watch face to celebrate Black History Month, and more.
watchOS 7.3.1 can be downloaded by opening the Watch app on iPhone, tapping General > Software Update.
The watch must be on a charger, in range of the iPhone and have at least 50 percent battery to install.
