FaceTime was used more than ever before over the holidays, says Apple
Apple has reported that FaceTime usage spiked over the holidays, with the highest volume of calls on record being made over the Christmas period.
With many spending the holidays away from their loved ones because of the impact the global health pandemic has had, it seems that now more than ever people are turning to video calling to connect with those who they are unable to be due to travel restrictions and health concerns.
Apple didn’t reveal the specific number of FaceTime calls that were made over the holidays, but now with 1.65 billion devices active around the world, it’s safe to say numbers would have been in the millions.
