Apple builds hype with WWDC20 emails touting ‘biggest updates ever’ to iOS, iPadOS, macOS and watchOS
Apple is gearing up for the official release of iOS 14, iPadOS 14, macOS Big Sur and watchOS 7 later this year, with new emails being sent to subscribers to build hype and tout the “biggest updates ever” coming soon.
Little under a month after Apple unveiled the next-generation operating systems at its developer-focused annual Worldwide Developers Conference, the company is now widening its marketing by promoting the new updates to its mainstream user base.
Today’s email offers a snapshot of what’s included in the new releases, including App Clips, an all‑new Home screen and the App Library on iOS, enhanced app designs, handwriting features and added capabilities on iPadOS, an all-new design, improved Messages, and more with macOS Big Sur and Sleep tracking, watch face sharing and a new Handwashing feature with watchOS 7.
