iOS 14 adds the ability to search for emoji
iOS 14 adds the ability for users to search for emoji, alleviating the need to scroll continuously through the near 3,000 emoji on iPhone to find the one they wish to use.
While the feature wasn’t officially announced by Apple during their virtual WWDC conference, users, such as Matt Birchler, who have downloaded the first developer beta of iOS 14, have uncovered the new search field on the system keyboard that allows them to search words such as “Happy”, “Love”, “Food”, and more to find corresponding emoji characters.
The new search option is similar to that on Mac which also allows users to search emoji.
