Apple Music ‘Replay 2020’ now available, updating automatically each week
Last November, Apple added a new “Replay” playlist to Apple Music which allowed subscribers to listen back to their top 100 most played tracks of the year. At the time, Apple said it would launch a similar playlist on a monthly basis in 2020, and today it has delivered on that promise.
Unlike “Replay 2019” which was made available at the end of the year, “Replay 2020” is available today and will be automatically updated each week throughout the year, adding frequently listened to tracks and removing ones which don’t make it to the top 100 most frequently played.
Apple Music subscribers can access their “Replay 2020” playlist by visiting replay.music.apple.com and selecting the “Add” button. The playlist will then appear in the Music app and will be available to listen to across all your devices.
The playlist ranks tracks by popularity, with your most frequently played songs at the top. Subscribers will notice this change automatically on a weekly basis.
Since it is so early in the year, some users may not have enough history to populate a full playlist a top 100 may not currently be available so in this instance, the playlist will only show the top 50, for example.
