Apple shares first full-length trailer for ‘The Morning Show’ ahead of Apple TV+ launch
Apple has released its first full-length trailer for upcoming Apple TV+ drama “The Morning Show”, offering a glimpse at the roles that will be played by Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell when the show officially launches with the release of the Apple pay-monthly streaming service later this year.
Last week, Apple shared a short teaser video alongside launching social media accounts for the TV show. Within the series, which is said to explore “the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning, exploring the unique challenges faced by the men and women who carry out this daily televised ritual.”, Aniston plays one of the news anchors of “The Morning Show”, while Carell plays a former anchor who was fired following accusations made against him on the show.
The trailer also reveals that Witherspoon will play a reporter who begins rising up the ranks, potentially threatening Aniston’s job.
An official release date for “The Morning Show” hasn’t been shared, though its release is expected to coincide with the launch of Apple TV+ this fall.
