Apple rumored to release new Apple Card app for iPad
Apple is rumored to be developing a new Apple Card app for iPad, allowing users to sign up, track spending, pay balances and manage their account without relying solely on the Wallet app for iPhone.
According to a new report from Bloomberg which claims that the Apple Card terms allow for Apple to offer special financing plans for specific purchases, Apple will allegedly make it easy for users who don’t own an iPhone but have an iPad to apply and use Apple Card.
Apple CEO Tim Cook announced on Tuesday that Apple Card would be available in August, with the service launching initially in the United States and a wider rollout expected in the future.
Apple has revealed that customers will be able to quickly sign up for Apple Card from the Wallet app on their iPhone, with the digital card ready to use for contactless Apple Pay purchases almost instantly after acceptance, with the optional physical Apple Card available to users within a few weeks after applying to receive one.
