Apple rolls out 12.4 update for HomePod, adding support for Japan and Taiwan
Apple has released a new update to HomePod, adding support for Japan and Taiwan ahead of when the speakers launch in the two countries this summer.
The update, which launched alongside iOS 12.4 and watchOS 5.3 today, will automatically be installed on HomePod speakers once users upgrade to iOS 12.4.
The release notes for the updates don’t indicate any other features have been added within this release.
Apple gives the option to manually update by opening the Home app on a device paired with the HomePod, tapping on the home icon in the upper left corner of the display, opening “Home Settings” and selecting “Software Update.”
