macOS Catalina beta 3 adds a brand new colourful screensaver
Alongside the recently released updates to the iOS, iPad and TVOS beta’s, macOS Catalina also received an update. However as noted by 9to5Mac, Apple has added a brand new screensaver to macOS for the first time in years. It seems like a small update in comparison to the bigger updates across the system that Catalina provides, like the new Music, Podcasts and TV apps, but it is a welcome addition.
The new screensaver is called Drift, and comes on automatically. It also comes with various colour variations, which makes the screensaver more personal to your mac. Some of the colour variations match the colours of the current Macbook line, with ‘Space Grey’ and ‘Silver’ as options, alongside a ‘Rainbow Spectrum’ Option.
macOS Catalina is the brand new update coming to Mac in September, and packs lots of brand new features, check out the roundup of Catalina features announced at this years WWDC.
It is currently available as a Public and Developer beta.
