Apple has released the second developer beta of iOS 13, adding a handful of new features and providing bug fixes for the initial release.
Portrait Mode Lighting Slider
- A new slider that allows you to adjust the intensity of Portrait Mode lighting options
High-Key Mono Lighting
- Added new High-Key Mono Portrait Mode Lighting option for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR
New Animoji Stickers
- Four additional Animoji Sticker that feature new poses
Maps Splash Screen
- Splash Screen to show new features in Maps when first opening the app after updating
Notes Checklists
- Added option in Notes to automatically move checked off items in a list to the bottom of the list
Safari Share Sheet
- Ability to share a webpage as a PDF or a Web Archive
- New “Automatic” option that picks the most suitable format
Downtime
- Downtime (part of Screen Time) now syncs with Apple Watch
APFS Drives in Files
- APFS formatted drives are now supported by the Files app
SMB Server Connectivity
- Files app can now connect to a server using SMB, allowing users to connect to a home NAS, for example
