Concepts imagine new Apple over-ear headphones

Following reports earlier this week of new Apple over-ear headphones launching in late 2018, concepts from The Apple Post imagine what the Cupertino tech giant could be planning to release to complete their audio line-up.
As shown in the concepts below we envisioned that Apple would take a simple yet stylish approach when designing their ‘high-end over-ear’ headphones, bringing across the familiar glossy outer finish and chrome outlines found on the iPhone X.
Our concept is completed with premium tanned leather wrapping around the two audio chambers of the headphones to cushion the ears of the listener creating a truly luxurious listening experience.

The latest addition to Apple’s audio range is HomePod, the company’s attempt to reinvent audio with their take on the Amazon Echo and Google Home smart speaker. Reviewers such as ourselves have been praising HomePod’s phenomenal sound quality, something Apple claims to of spent years fine-tuning.
Beats Electronics (an Apple owned company) currently dominates the over-ear headphone market competing with brands such as Bose, Sony, Philips and Sennheiser. The new ‘high-end over-ear’ headphones from Apple will most likely offer an amalgamation of Beats audio technology alongside Apple’s minimalistic product design.
Reports claim Apple will price their new headphones higher than AirPods priced at £159/$159 with launch scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2018 at the earliest. Apple currently retails a selection of audio accessories including third-party products such as Bose, B&O and UE.
