Drone crash-lands onto roof of Apple Park campus
Footage has captured the moment that a drone flying over Apple Park crash-landed onto the buildings solar panel rooftop, leaving the unresponsive wreckage wedged in-between panels on Apple’s large “spaceship” campus.
YouTuber Matthew Roberts, who has frequently been capturing Apple Park flyover footage, was asked by the pilot of the downed drone to search for the missing craft after it it suddenly lost control and plummeted down to earth during a flight this weekend.
According to Roberts, the pilot has reached out to Apple to ask for the downed drone to be given back and is currently awaiting a response. With Apple Park nearing completion it’s unclear if Apple will crack down on pilots to avoid future crashes/incidents on their property.
The Apple Post reported on Monday that Apple Park is now Apple’s official address, replacing One Infinite Loop which as been the company’s corporate headquarters since 1993.
