Leaked iPhone 8 diagram card shows a reduced bezel ‘notch’ screen design
A leaked iPhone 8 diagram card appears to give us an insight into the design of Apple’s upcoming iPhone handset, revealing a reduced bezel ‘notch’ screen design which leaves room at the top of the device to house the earpiece and front camera sensors.
While at this point it’s hard to confirm the authenticity of the diagram card, the packaging matches with previous design reports we’ve received from Apple’s supply chain. Apple’s upcoming iPhone 8 is building itself up to be one of the most anticipated iPhone releases of all time, It’s believed Apple will release two iPhone models in September, an iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus that will be minor updates to Apple’s current iPhone 7 offerings as well as an all new, dramatically redesigned iPhone 8.
According to a report from the Economic Daily News, via DigiTimes, production of the iPhone 7s and iPhone 8 is delayed, with some claiming that mainstream production of the iPhone 8 may not start until between November and December.
