Report shows Apple lead the way for holiday smartphone activations
In a new report released Wednesday, Apple has once again topped the charts this holiday season. Flurry Analytics has discovered that Apple had more than double the number of smartphone activations as Samsung.
Apple lead the way with smartphones activations with 44% of new activations. With 21% Samsung in the runner-up. It’s noted that Samsung’s holiday activations still grew 1% over last year despite the Korean company’s hardships.

The remaining top activations include Huawei coming in 3rd at 3%, and then LG, Amazon, Oppo, Xiaomi, and Motorola all trailing with 2%. Surprisingly Google’s latest Pixel was nowhere to be seen.
Despite many upset about the loss of the headphone jack, the device’s sales numbers are performing well.
